Meet Niche Brow Bar, an amazing brow specialist in Shawlands, Glasgow. Niche is run by entrepreneur, Heather, who has taken social media by storm as a corrective brow specialist.
In spite of being locked down, Heather has found a new way of helping her customers through online consultations and the creation of her own brow growth serum- Niche Brow Co. Heather's customers (and their eyebrows) can come back to the salon after being supported from home during lockdown.
The Niche Brow Bar team work with customers to gain confidence in themselves through correcting their brows, which frames their face and showcases their best features. Their ethos is to “cater for everyone but treat every single customer individually and with care”.
Their story:
Heather started the salon in 2018 after finishing her business degree in Glasgow and working part-time as a makeup artist. She trained in HD brows on the same week she graduated because the ‘graduate job’ route just wasn't for her.
Heather says “People often come into the salon scared to wipe off their brow makeup and show me what’s underneath. Their confidence is at rock bottom. Having been there myself I make it my mission to turn things around for them by giving them a bespoke service that suits their skin, medical history, and goals”
Over lockdown, Heather has developed new ways of helping customers, including an online consultation service to offer advice on eyebrow maintenance whilst the salon is closed.
Alongside this, Niche launched an eyebrow growth serum because she knows first-hand that if customers add this into their daily routine it can speed up their corrective treatments when they can’t have a physical appointment.
The thing she misses the most about work right now is “Seeing someone’s confidence levels shoot up” and is excited to reopen soon.
“We try to keep our customers happy through social media as it’s the only way to connect right now. We have done fun Valentine’s day competitions, a Sex and the City quiz on Instagram as well as just sharing top tips and doing live Q and A’s for anyone needing some support.”
