Corky and Prince a specialist wedding florist in Fairford, Cotswolds

Corky and Prince a specialist wedding florist based in Fairford, Cotswolds has managed to stay connected with clients through Instagram in spite of weddings and events being canceled.

How can a business that operates for events connect with customers during uncertain times? Social media is the way that Fi and her husband Alan of Corky and Prince have kept their business going and even attracting new customers during a really tough time.

Corky and Prince is a wedding florist which specialises in flowers, styling, and prop-hire across South West England.

Throughout 2020 they have, like most businesses, had to completely pivot their business with no events and limited weddings. They had to come up with other ways to ensure their stunning arrangements could still be found by people across the South West and Instagram seemed like a great channel to do this.

Their story:

Fi and her husband Alan run Corky and Prince. Together they aim to deliver exquisite flowers and visual styling for your wedding or event.

Growing up in Cornwall, Fi was lucky to be surrounded by fields and woods, hedgerows and gardens, so the natural world has always played a big role in her life.

“I trained with the renowned tutors at the Academy of Flowers in Covent Garden, one of the top training schools in the UK. The course was fantastic and really super-charged my passion for all things floral and I continue to invest in learning the latest skills” says Fi.

The style reflects Fi’s love of gardening and nature - she likes to use beautiful foliage, seed heads, scented herbs and succulents as well as unusual flowers to create displays that reflect the seasons.

Throughout the pandemic Fi has been ensuring that her customers stay up to date and helping them where possible through Instagram. She has also been showcasing new displays and gaining new customers from elsewhere who are now searching on social media for specialist florists and ideas for their big day, no matter how far down the track they may be.

We’re easy going folks and we love what we do. We would also love to help you turn your ideas into reality for your wedding or event. Call us or drop us an email for a free obligation discussion.
— Fi, Owner of Corky and Prince
