String Theory Garage is an independent garage and suspension specialist based in Stratford-Upon-Avon.
String Theory Garage was founded by Ben Broke-Smith in 2018.
Ben has over 15 years of experience working on cars and competed for several years in British, Irish and European drifting championships, achieving many podium finishes and winning the European championship in 2008. From the beginning of Ben's drifting career he built, set up and maintained his own competition vehicles, spending countless hours trying different setups to improve and develop wherever possible.
To this day, Ben is a keen driver and attends track days as much as time allows, still spending his free time tinkering with car suspension tuning and wheel alignment, constantly looking to find that little extra improvement.
Ben's diverse driving experience, extensive technical understanding and strong eye for detail are what has led to the success of String Theory Garage today, where hundreds of happy customers have had their cars transformed in the hands of Ben.
Ben has recently taken on Alex who runs the social media and all other things business allowing Ben to do what he does best.
Their story:
“We have a specialism in vehicle suspension set up and geometry and know that we can. transform the way a car drives and we can get that across really easily on social media buy showing the ‘car journey’ and talking about the problem and the solution” says Alex.
”E.g. A guy came last week with a 200 K car and had only driven 400 miles. it scared him and he was nervous on the road. Ben tweaked and changed the set up and in a few hours he had transformed the way it drove. “ he added.
String Theory Garage uses social media to take a photo of the before, the middle and the after and talk about how they have changed things for that customer. “It encourages people to engage with us because they love cars, it encourages people to ask questions and also to think about what we could actually do for them.” says Alex.
