Louise Grant, the owner of Oliver’s, over lockdown has delighted the people of Ripon with her social media posts throughout the pandemic helping them feel warm, happy and connected in spite of being unable to open fully.
Oliver’s Pantry is named after Louise’s father and is run by her and her husband as a family owned independent coffee bar. Louise says “the essence of Oliver’s is feel like it is a home from home, comfortable, warm and buzzing with energy. Conveying that somehow through social media throughout lockdown has been a challenge but our customers have stayed true to us”
Everything about visiting Oliver’s Pantry is just “easy” says Louise- whether you want a beer and a burger or a coffee and a sweet treat, you will love our vibrant and comfortable atmosphere.

Louise has a vibrant and fun personality, as does her business Oliver’s Pantry based in Ripon. She attracts people from Harrogate to Durham with her tasty breakfasts through to her delicious coffee. Over Lockdown Louise has made it her mission to keep her customs informed, to surprise and delight them through social media and make sure that no matter whether you can come into Oliver’s directly or happen to land on their social feeds, you have a warm and fuzzy experience.
